UK science fiction author says ‘Hello’
I write science fiction and have ebook versions of my first novel (Passengers to Sentience) and an ebook of robot and SF limericks.
I am very pleased to be here, as it looks a great place for indie authors. Peter edit - sorry the limerick book is no longer free as a result of price parity requirements. However, one of the books has reached the second round of the 2010 BritWriters' Awards and both books will remain 99 cents until the finalists are announced around the end of May. Hi to you all and thanks for the welcome!
The First Completely Electronic Robot and Science Fiction Limerick Book containing over fifty almost unimaginably short stories is 99 cents. Off now to see desertgrandma's advice and hope she tells me how to post links. Thanks for the tips on writers' corner and the shameless plug thread. Thank you, Helen. I can go to the shameless promotion thread and try it out now.
If the volcano in Iceland stops erupting sometime within the next five or six weeks, I will be able to take my first ever trip to America. Amongst other things, I am looking forward to seeing whole shop-fulls of mobile reading devices, as well as one of the world's largest T-Rex skeletons and a science and technology museum. |

We are going to be close to Lake Michigan this trip but the Rocky Mountains sound good, Kenny. I guess having gone once we'll have to go again!

Thank you to recluse, Lady Blue, kennyc, cassidym, Imogen Rose and Katti’s cat for your kind welcome messages to this site, which so far seems to be considerably more sane, sedate and interesting than others I have visited.
Additional thanks to Helen for fitting me up with links. When I tried to do them over on the ‘shameless’ thread I couldn’t make them look quite so elegant but hopefully that will come with practise. Also additional thanks to beachwanderer for the links to useful parts of the site. I am still wandering about somewhat bemused and amazed but in a good way. I have only just started looking at this thread: Seriously thoughtful When science fiction meets science fact It looks very interesting and I shall be going back to it soon. |
