Free book (Kindle/Nook) - Deadly Sanctuary [Mystery]
Deadly Sanctuary, the 1st in the Kendall O'Dell mystery series by Sylvia Nobel, is free at B&N courtesy of publisher Nite Owl Press. This one is a full free book, not one of those annoying glorified preview freebies, seems to have been originally published in 1998 and sells in paperback for $14.85.

Also, I've decided to leave off the US-only in the thread titles for Nook books from now on, since we all know that B&N officially mostly sell only to the US and that their geo-restrictions aren't that hard to get around. Less for the mods to edit later when books show up in the other stores.

Synopsis
Deadly Sanctuary is the first title in Sylvia Nobel's popular mystery series, featuring spirited, flame-haired reporter Kendall O'Dell. The author's trademark style is to produce exciting, well-written, edge-of-your-seat, adventures with "knock your socks off" surprise endings. Her judicious use of language and lack of graphic sex and violence make her novels suitable from teens to seniors.

Author Biography: Sylvia Nobel is the award-winning author of the Kendall O'Dell mystery series and two romance novels, all set in Arizona. She is an accomplished public speaker and a member of Mystery Writers of America. She lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and seven cats.

good to have an archos tablet where I can have kindle, nook, kobo, or other epub readers
I have an astak pocket pro but much easier (and for some reason exciting) to be able to easily get these books and even sync up to my cellphone (android nook app) for when I didn't know I was going to need a book
