mobi from epub or converted epub
Ok.. I'm guessing that the answer to my question is "doesn't matter" but I'm going to ask anyway.
I have some ePubs with no covers. I've created some covers which I add in Calibre. To actually embed the cover in the file though, the epub has to be "converted" to epub. I also need a mobi file. Should the mobi be converted from the original ePub file (no cover, cover is embedded during conversion) or should it be converted from the "converted" epub file? Is there any difference at all? Both seem to work. |

While in many (most?) cases it should make no difference, I always recommend that a re-conversion be done from the original source.
