Camera connector used in ipod touch?
Has anyone tried the camera connector on an ipod touch 1G? Skype and SD access would be great!

skype works with voice with the ipad. using the built in speaker and mic, or you can attach apple's earbuds, or a compatible set of 3rd party headphones with a mic. there are no restrictions, as far as i've seen, using any voip software on the ipad.

iPad Camera Connector not supported by iTouch
I tried the iPad Camera Connection kit with two 2nd generation iPod touch devices running (jailbroken) OS 4.0 and (regular) OS 4.2. No luck either way. Skype with video was my goal, too.
This was quite a disappointment considering that there is a camera connection kit for just a regular iPod. |
