The original Asus eee pad Transformer is also going on sale for Black Friday at Best Buy for $250.00.

That is a killer price for the device! I am SORELY tempted.

I saw the blackberry playbook for 200 at buy.com

Why this sudden rush to offload the 7in devices? I'm not a fan of the 7in device [my superpad, for all its faults, at least is 10. just enough for movies...], but still...

Do 'they' know something we don't?

There was a lot of noise about cpus speed, cores, size, graphics. Now all that is pretty equal. Sure there is a 10 inch crowd, and a 7 inch crowd and a few others, but any tablet will play most anything.

Now the rules of the game are price and market share, and price and market share.

It is put up or shut up and you are out of the game.

My only hesitation is that I think prices will still continue to drop, and better and lower priced tablets will come in Q1 of 2012.

The Flyer is cool - I love a good stylus for notes and such - but I went with a Toshiba Thrive from newegg this morning for $199. Love all the full-size ports on that thing!
