Hi,

Those of you who are not having an iLiad yet, might be interested in seeing one in action. You can now do so by watching a little video I made.

Please use one of the mirror links to download the video (34.6 MByte, 09min35s). You can also click onto the image to view a flash version on youtube.com.

Please forgive the not really perfect quality. Video codec is Divx. Resolution is 360x288 (PAL/2). The video is edited and composed, colors are adjusted.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: The original connection should now work with 512 kb/s. Apparently the server became a little bit confused and caused a traffic jam.

Great job R2D2!!! I got most of it (about 7'30" before it pooped out) and it's very well done. I have a feel now for the responsiveness (not very), but also a better impression of how nice it will be for reading pdf files on a full page with e-ink. Thanks!

Actually, I can live with the current page loading speed. It's not that bad.
A bigger problem for me is the folder navigation. And yes, I would also like to have a big DIN A4 brother of the current iLiad.
