Looks like they are all from Xlibris. Not sure what the deal is, but I doubt it's a mistake.

I know they sell them on their own website and nearly all are listed at $9.99 on Kindle -- but has anyone read any of these or heard of any of the authors? Many don't even have a synopsis included.

Here are a couple of them that I found with a quick google for more info. I haven't heard of any of them. I wonder if they are first time authors? EDIT: I saw some published by smashwords and a lot by wattpad and Xlibris Corporation.

I found a review of The Chronicles of Illumaril by Gary Caplan here is part of it

However, there are so many characters with so many special powers; it can be a challenge to keep track of them all or to understand their purpose. In addition, the story seemed to get caught up in minutia detail at times that had little significance to strengthening its plot. The amount of effort Gary Caplan (the primary author) put into writing this novel is evident; particularly in the final pages where he provides an imaginary journal written by Gideon about his travels. In the journal is a listing of nobility ranks by title. This list is nice, but would have been more useful in the earlier pages where it could have helped the reader figure out the various rank structures mentioned throughout the story.

I was checking out inkmesh.com this morning, and they've posted a list of over 90 free books at the Sony ebook store in about the last 20 hours in a variety of genres too numerous to mention.

They're all valid freebies.

I haven't looked at Inkmesh in a while, but I just did and I am quite impressed! The site seems very easy to use. One minor change would be nice. On the main search page, the authors are not clickable to automatically search for other books by that author. Instead, you have to click on book and then you can click on the author. Saving a step might be nice! Keep up the great work!
