Copying Library - really simple question
This has to have been asked before but i can't find the answer. How do i take an existing calibre library ("C1"), and copy it to another computer's empty calibre library ("C2"). Is there a way for C2 to simply adopt C1's database file instead of going through the lengthy "Add books from multiple directories, including subgroups (one book per directory)" route?

Don't create the library "C2" on the target computer. Instead just copy the whole library folder C1 to your other computer. Then choose Open Library on your second computer and point to wherever you copied that folder to.
If you want the library to have a different name on computer 2, then rename the folder after you have copied it and before you open it. |
