Would it be possible to have a warning displayed when someone posts a message that has more than "x" lines with no spoiler tag present?

Hi Peter, this wouldn't be possible unless we added new code to provide the functionality. I am not sure how this would be beneficial in our community, where the length of the majority of posts is relatively short.

The use case is for people posting log files, especially in some of the calibre forums.

Currently the mods often wrap these in the correct spoiler tags but if you happen to encounter one before the tagging (especially on a mobile device) you are looking at a lot of mad scrolling to get past the wall of useless info.

Ok, that's a very specific case (someone posting unabridged log files and someone else reading them on a mobile device). I have added your suggestion to our list of possible to-dos in the future.
