Hi Billi and welcome to MobileRead. I lived in Berlin (Templehof) in the mid-70's. VERY interesting place in those days. Visited the city in 1999 and was stunned at the differences.

Billi Hallo und herzlich willkommen auf MobileRead. Ich lebte in Berlin (Tempelhof) in der Mitte der 70er Jahre. Sehr interessant in diesen Tagen. Besuchte die Stadt in den Jahren 1999 und war fassungslos auf die Unterschiede.

ok, can't pretend much more than that, as it's been over 20 years now, and I learned a few other languages in the meantime (none of them fluently). They all get muddled together in my head. Well, except Hawaiian and English (fluent in both), but the Hawaiian doesn't help much in this case.
