I can't run it on my kindle3

In launchpad.ini I set a command V M=!/mnt/us/extensions/vim/vim
When I pressed Shift V M in home screen,it shows "failed".
I open terminal and run it directly, the shell returns "sh: vim: not found".
Please tell me how to use it.

Sorry, I don't have a 3, just a Touch. I run the script /mnt/us/extensions/vim which is just a pointer to the binary plus a few environment changes. If you ssh in, you might try to run the script directly and see the output? I guess it's not plug and play, sorry.

I didn't use ssh,instead I open a terminal emulator on kindle3---MyTs

In this emulator I can run other binanarys except the vim.
Would you mind to tell me the steps of running vim on your Touch?
