Asus first 7" HC tablet - It's Fugly and Functional
Asus has reviled their first 7" tablet and also claim to be the first 7" HoneyComb tablet.
Much like the HTC Flyer this is a 7" tablet with a stylus pen. Unlike the Flyer this thing is Flugy and can also act as a phone.. Our MR friend Charbax is at the Computex and has provided us a great video on the Asus 7" tablet. |

Hmmm don't know about it being Fugly, not a bad looking piece of hardware, but it does look very early 2000's or late 1990's though. Which is odd seeing how they knocked it out of the ball park with the Eee Pad transformer and their latest ultra thin laptop. did you get a look at this? Very very sleak. http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-...CmoreStories.0 |

Yeah I think I'd opt for a bluetooth headset, but I do quite like the pen and how it slides into that retro 70's chrome bar. (Just not a fan of the chrome.
Yes it is sleek, but that is what happens when you copy somebody else's design. The 7" does not have anybody to copy, well you have Dell and the Tab but I wouldn't consider any of those worthy. =X= |
