Embedding author's font: appearance is not always the same

I was used to have my own font in the old K2. I bought the Kindle voyage and hacking fonts is not yet available. The only way to have GEORGIA (I think the best and most readable font) is to convert via calibre to AZW3 embedding fonts.
The only issue is that sometimes the font appearance is correct, sometimes is not with exactly the same parameters.
