GeekWire: Kindle Fire Newsstand to feature GQ, Wired and dozens of other magazines

More than 400 full-color magazines and newspapers will be available in the Kindle Fire Newsstand, including Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan and Elle. Amazon also noted that Kindle Fire customers who subscribe before March 1, 2012 will get a free three-month trial of 17 Condé Nast magazines, including Vanity Fair, GQ, WIRED and Glamour.

The 3 month trial is a great idea to get people used to the idea of moving to digital magazines.


I wasn't impressed with the early attempts, but the latest several Wired issues have really been well done-not too much flashy stuff, some nice additional features over the print version, and most importantly, perfectly formatted for the screen size. I will probably subscribe to a few more.
