Calibre Save options

I'd like to save a list of epubs without folders - in this very simple format:

Author last name, Author first name - Book Title

(no folders, just a list of epub files).

Could someone tell me what to put into Calibre to save in this simple format?

I used to have the coding in Calibre but lost it with recent updates.

Updates don't wipe settings. Even un-installs.

You can only control Export paths

Hmmm ... all I know is I've lost them.

The settings were there one day and gone the next time I used Calibre.

If not with an update ... I dunno what happened to them.

Can you tell me how to save in this format?

EDIT: Just read the link you gave .... it used to be possible to save any way you wanted to - the settings I've lost were given me from someone on this forum - and I've been saving that way for ages.

EDIT: Just read the link you gave .... it used to be possible to save any way you wanted to - the settings I've lost were given me from someone on this forum - and I've been saving that way for ages.

You have never been able to control the internal Library name order V7.x or V8.x

The at the end is a tweak: Library Order

Preferences: Saving to Disk or Send to Device (they are independent)

{author_sort} - {title}

Question - Why does a title that starts with the word 'The' (ie: The Last Day) come up with the word 'The' last? (ie: Last Day, The)?

Is there a simple change so it comes up in the correct order?

That is called Library order.

The tweak has other options
