Protection film or not?
I the plastic film above the rectangle with the Cybook symbol a protection film or not? What happen if I try to remove it? It does not stick properly and there is an annoying air bubble inside it.

It's just there to protect the device from scratches during shipping. Remove it.

yours' obviously newer than mine - i only got the plastic cover over the screen - which incidently i leave in place as an extra protection (cats)....

I had it on my 512MB Gen3. It's just a shipping thing, as I said. It gets in the way if you leave it on and serves no useful purpose.
