stupid question about epub? (nook + css)

Hi, there,

I would like to test my epubs on a nook or something equivalent.

But alas, I have none.

There is a nook desktop application, but it seems insufficient for testing. For one thing, you can add your own ebook to this desktop app; but as far as I can tell, you can't remove them.

I have no idea how to view an epub file in Nook for ipad. But I don't know how to sideload files into the application. (can you do it through itunes).

I'm wondering if the nook e-ink and nook 2 support:

floats, borders, backgrounds, width, max-width, etc.

I assume these things are well-supported in the ipad app, but I have no idea about the nook devices. for example, how are colors treated? Are they ignored or are they converted to grayscale shades? Anyone know or can anyone refer me to some resource with such information?

I'm sure I can test with calibre ebook reader and ADE, but I'm not sure that they would show what nook would render.

Thanks.
