Buying the Cybook retail in the USA
Me and some friends are going to spend 6 weeks in the USA and I'm hoping you can help me out with two things:
- which computer/gadget retail store chains are known to sell the Cybook? - which are the most well known computer/gadget retail store chains in the USA? I already know about Best Buy, CompUSA, RadioShack and Fry's - I would like to check their online catalogues for some stuff my friends and I might be interested in buying Last edited by Marko; 03-08-2009 at 01:48 PM. |

Best Buy is the grand daddy. But, for popular tech gadgets Walmart and Target usually have them, sometimes at a better price. I don't think there are any CompUSA retail stores any more. BOb |

Thanks, I'll look for Sony Readers then.
Edit: What about Hanlin eReader V3 - is it available in the US? Last edited by Marko; 03-08-2009 at 02:39 PM. |

Then I guess you'll have to do without any eBooks as you do have to buy them online.

But if "Mum" is in a fixed location, there's no reason to NOT order online and have it shipped directly TO Mum. Furthermore, if you have any kind of schedule of travel, there's bound to be a time when you can predict you'll be in a certain location for a week or so. Just order the week prior and have it shipped to you care-of your hotel/motel/suite. This is done all the time. Derek |

Hey Marko,
Have you tried Books-On-Board. I think they sell the Cybook for 289USD: http://www.booksonboard.com/index.ph...uct&PRODUCT=35 I imagine they would deliver it to an address in the USA if you have one you can use on your holiday. Quote:
