I have to wait an extra 3 days....
sometimes it stinks living on a rock in the middle of nowhere! I ordered my new 650 last Saturday with an estimated delivery of this next Tuesday, May 10th. I have been checking the progress, and it's now left California...and the deliver time has been changed to this Friday Apparently it takes a week to get across the ocean. I would rather they gave me a date further away and then it came early and surprised me. *sigh*

Hang in there. It will be worth the wait when you eventually get your hands on it
Happy reading. |

Count your blessings--I would give anything to live on that rock, snail mail and all!

How exciting and very frustrating! It will most definitely be worth the wait! I know hard it is to stay patient in these situations.

Ha- this rock has a lot of downfalls as well (especially for someone with my personal preferences).... if I had a job elsewhere, and could afford to move the family, I just might move off the rock....
Trying to be patient.... (and trying not to completely stalk the fedex page.... ) |

We've been all over & lived in several states over the years, but the rock is still our favorite--we even watch Five 0 just to imagine we are still there. I agree, there are many problems with living there, but it still feels like we're home when we go back for a visit. Hope by now you are reading your 650. I love my 350--worth 20 Kindles, IMHO.

I once had a package that I was waiting for and on the day it was due, the tracking said there was a problem. I called and the person on the phone said it missed being scanned for outgoing delivery and I would have to wait until Monday. The day of deliver was Friday. Turns out I got it the day it was due anyway. Very odd.

I've lived in a few places in the USA. But never off the mainland.
I know you'll enjoy your 650 once you get it and get books loaded on it. In fact, I went to the Arnold Arboretum today and sat on a bench in the sun and read some with my 650. It was very nice today. |

OMG< IT'S HERE!!!
But I don't have it in my hands yet....*grumble grumble* We had it delivered to my husband's work place. He has it, I don't. I told him he'd better get it charging! I was sad yesterday (the original date it was supposed to show up), but thrilled when I saw this morning the delivery date had been changed from Friday to TODAY! YAAAAAY!!!!!!! I've had a good day today, and this was icing on the cake |
