Anki or Ankimini on Kindle 3

Unfortunately there is no Kindle version yet. Ankimini runs a linux server which could be accessed through the webkit browser.

Open Source code can be found on https://github.com/dae/ankimini and https://github.com/dae/libanki.

Would be amazing, if someone could manage to port this to a jailbroken kindle linux!

If you have online access through your Kindle, you could always use Ankiweb. Not that a native program wouldn't be nice!

By the way, with Android there is no need for Ankimini as there is AnkiDroid.

That's true. Since android seems to be linux+java like the kindle os, there must be a way to make this happen.

Unfortunately for the time being the kindle won't speak python (something like ASE for android is missing).
