iriver Story coming to Germany?
Do you remember the Kindle clone we covered a few weeks back? Well, I now have a second hand report that the Story will be sold in Germany in October. It is supposed to be sold by Hugendubel.

I can't find an official announcement, so let's take this with a grain of salt.

Actually, we had that covered in the german subforum already! It seems like Hugendubel does NOT have a signed agreement with iRiver yet (at least iRiver says so) iRiver is still actively looking for sales partners in Germany, Europe and the States

Exactly...sales price should be 280-300 Euro in germany, they'll announce the reader within the next week in berlin...talked (german) with iriver europe ceo kim about this topic on friday.

I think this must be running WinCE, so "E-BOOK VIEWER: EPUB/PDF" might be a WinCE port of mobile Adobe Digital Editions.

hm, the spec sheet says it's an "emotional lifestyle e-book device." do you think that means it cries when you load it up with sad books, or throws the usb cable at your head if you don't pay enough attention to it ?
