Frage zum Download bereits gekaufter Ebooks
Hallo hallo,
so das ist mein erster Beitrag im Forum. Ich hab schon lange mitgelesen und da ich mir nun einen Kindle bestellt habe, habe ich nun einige Fragen dazu. Ich hab mir gestern Kindle for PC heruntergeladen und das funktioniert alles super - habe mir testweise zwei kostenlose Ebooks via Amazon geholt. Des Weiteren habe ich mir hier im Forum ein Ebook geholt, was auch gleich in der Kindle for PC Software erschienen ist. Meine Frage ist nun, wo die bei Amazon gekauften Bücher gespeichert werden und wie ich sie gegebenenfalls (bei einem Computerschaden etc.) wieder runterladen kann? Ist dies überhaupt möglich? Und wenn ich ein Buch direkt über den Kindle kaufe, wie kann ich es dann trotzdem nochmal zur Sicherheit auf den Computer speichern? |

Die eBooks, die du unter Kindle for PC herunderlädst, werden unter "Eigene Dateien" im Ordner "My Kindle Content" gespeichert. Von denen kannst du also wie von jeder Datei eine Sicherungskopie machen.
Ansonsten werden alle eBooks bei Amazon zentral abgespeichert. Sie sind ja an dein Konto, nicht an deinen PC gebunden. Solltest du also mal einen Crash haben: Kindle for PC neu installieren, Kontodaten eingeben, neu synchronisieren lassen. Du kannst ein gekauftes eBook auf allen deiner "Ausgabeplätze" gleichzeitig lesen. Du brauchst im Amazon-Kundenbereich nur sagen, wohin du das eBook gesendet haben möchtest. |

Das heißt also, wenn ich via Kindle kaufe, aus dem Urlaub Heim komme und Kindle for PC anmache und mit dem Konto synchronisiere, dann erscheint das Buch aus dem Kindle in meiner Bücherliste? |

Yup, und zwar automatisch an der Stelle geöffnet, an der du auf dem Kindle aufgehört hast zu lesen.

Nicht schlecht, nicht schlecht. Und was würde passieren, wenn es irgendwann mal einen deutschen Kindlebuchladen gibt? Kann man die Accounts irgendwie zusammenführen? Amazon.co.uk verkauft doch auch in eigener Sache. Weiß jemand wie es da aussieht?

Dein Kindle ist ja mit deinem jeweiligem Amazon Konto verbunden. In dem Fall das ein deutscher Kindle Store irgendwann mal eröffnet werden sollte würde das dann wahrscheinlich so aussehen das Du deinen Kindle vom US Account deregistrieren müsstest und dann auf dem deutschem Account wieder neu registrieren. Die Bücher wären dann auf deinen jeweiligen Accounts verteilt und Du könntest immer nur die Bücher des Accounts wo er gerade registriert ist direkt auf deinen Kindle laden.
Mit der KindleforPC Anwendung kannst Du dich logischerweise natürlich weiterhin auf deinen verschiedenen Accounts einloggen. *Edit* Das ist natürlich nur der *jetzt* Zustand, mag sein das Amazon bei Eröffnung eines deutschen Kindle Stores da gewisse befristeten Sonderwechselmöglichkeiten einräumt. Wenn man die Erfahrung aus dem UK-Shop nimmt, wird es auf zwei getrennte Konten hinauslaufen, will man nicht alle Nase lang hin und her ummelden.
Ein DE-Kindle wird nur mit eBooks aus dem DE-Store bestückbar sein. Für die US-eBooks, solange sie nicht über den DE-Store erhältlich sind, wird man einen US-Kindle brauchen. Ob man den aber dann noch erhält, muss sich zeigen. |
