Hello,

addendum: Setup Wizard won't start either, ditto calibre-debug -d with the error "Symbol not found: _FSMoveObjectToTrashSync"

_FSMoveObjectToTrashSync is a symbol that is defined in an OS X system library. If it is missing, then you have some system corruption. Not being an OS X user, I cant advise you on how to fix it, some googling might help.

Thanks a lot for a soon reply!
I rolled back to 0.8.62, which is perfectly working (including working Setup Wizard) with sending books to my Kindle. With 0.8.62, ``calibre-debug -d'' isn't working though, so I think that it's unrelated to not being able to send books to the device. More things that seem to be strange/broken in 0.8.63 in my installation: - no categories (Authors, Languages, etc.) are visible on the left side - no context menu while right-clicking on single books - the column ``on device''/``in library'' is absent from the main table I can accept my Mac OS X might be corrupted, but there happened something wrong between 0.8.62 and .63. Yours. Last edited by gregbg; 08-05-2012 at 02:54 PM. |
