Glo Intercompatibility of displays

Greetings all,

I have recently cracked the display of my trusty Kobo Glo. I know I could get a used one for about the same price, but I would like to fix mine if I could.

I have removed the display (following this helpful guide) and now I need to find a replacement one.

I have found a Kobo Glo HD with damaged USB port for a good price in my region. My question is: Will the display from the Glo HD work in my Glo?

A Glo HD screen will not work on a Glo.

Have a look at the model number of the screen and have a look on Aliexpress for a new screen with the same number.

As a follow-up, my display's model number is ED060XG1 (LF)C1-11

On AliExpress I see several varieties of ED060XG1, some of which specify C1 or T1, others which say "(LF) T1 C1 H2" is it likely that any of these will work, or would it be safest to go for an exact match?
