WebIS Mail 2.1 final for Pocket PC is out

You can now download the final version of WebIS Mail 2.1, without question the best e-mail client for Pocket PC handhelds. 2.1 adds tons of new features including support for secure connections (SSL), full VGA, Gmail, and IMAP.

If you were lucky enough to catch the Handango freebie last December, you can still use this major upgrade for free!

Thank you Morpheus. I was one the lucky Handango ones and still have a registration number for 2.1. Unfortunately WebIS doesn't fulfil my needs. Worst of all it is *much* slower and more irresponsive than the original Microsoft Messaging e-mail client. Also, I had all kinds of random error messages when I was trying to connect my various mail accounts via IMAP + SSL. And third, it seems to require at least twice as much temporary memory when accessing a big inbox. Back to the built-in app
