showing date/time
For almost a year now I own a PRS-T1 (not rooted) and only now it occurred to me that you do not see the current date/time anywhere, save for the config screens. Why I noticed it only now? Well, yesterday I did made some config adjustment and somehow at the top left of the black bar in the home screen I *DID* see the date/time appearing. Sadly, it went away when I selected the book I wanted to read and I could not make it visible again.
So, is there some (undocumented) feature to make it visible again? It seems to be possible, but I cannot reproduce it. |

If you are on home screen press right-most key. One with little lines.

I don't know of a way to keep the time visible at all times, but if you just want to check the time from the home screen, you can press the menu button and the time will temporarily show up. (wish I could claim credit for this discovery, but I actually read this tip on this forum somewhere)
Edit - looks like Helen and I were posting the same thing at the same time! |
