Try going through his website and scroll down to one of the Cool Pictures - Military. They are on Flickr, from which you may be blocked.

The one of the Blue Angels looks like it might have been taken at North Island (the base at Coronado "Island") in San Diego, CA.

And, yes .... it used to be an island and so people still call it an island even though it's technically a peninsula now.

I always wonder, though, where some of the people who are taking pictures are standing! And why they aren't running instead.

that is a targeted missile. that when it gets within 30 feet of its target or so, it Explodes, and rains down Shrapnel and hell Fire to destroy a target area 10x that which a direct stike would.

it works great in trench warfare. as it can blow out an entire trench, or collapse an entire building instead of just a floor.
