Metadata when adding books

When adding books, Calibre can determine metadata either from the book itself or from the filename.

Most of my imports have fairly well structured filenames such that I can use a regular expression to enable calibre to determine author, tiltle and, possibly, series from the filename. However, in quite few cases we have the title only - which results in an author of 'Unklnown'.

May I suggest an enhancement to the Add book process such that when the use of a regular expression results in an unknown author, then Calibre shoud go to the book to get the author. This hybrid method should be in addition to the existing processes.
Thanks
