Trinity: The Koldun Code by French-Australian author Sophie Masson (ISFDB, Wikipedia), who's been nominated for several sfnal and YA prizes for her speculative fiction books for younger readers, is 1st in her Trinity series of contemporary supernatural urban fantasy suspense thrillers with strong mythological and f/m romantic elements, set in modern-day Russia and incorporating traditional folklore as well as company politics, this installment kicking off the investigation of the underlying mystery as a young woman runs into an odd conspiracy at the titular firm, free courtesy of publisher Pan Macmillan Australia's Momentum imprint.

This is the featured Free Book of the Week in the iTunes Australia & New Zealand stores, and is being made free to promote the newly-released 2nd-in-series, Trinity: The False Prince, which continues delving into the strange goings-on. According to the customer reviews, this seems to be a New Adult-level novel, with content mostly suitable for older YA teen readers, but also intended towards a more mature audience.

Because it's nice to get some more variety in the background influences of the supernatural/paranormal stuff we get, and Russian folklore seems to be pretty rare in mainstream offerings, and it looks like it's got an interesting-looking plotline contrasting old-world and modern Russia as well, from an award-nominated speculative fiction author, so bonus points!
