I was reading on one of the Amazon communities and a poster suggested this site. I recently bought an iPad to use, for the most part, as an e-reader. I am enjoying it quite a bit and thought that a forum that looked at all e-reading devices would be interesting.

Thank you to everyone for the welcome. What a friendly group of people! I've really enjoyed the iPad. It is great to have a library that I can take with me. I find the experience to be very different from the iMac. It is great to be able to sit in my favorite chair, read, surf the net whatever. Also great when you don't have access to the desktop iMac. I love it also but in a different way.
