Thumbs up Darrell at Kobo is awesome!!!

Just wanted to give proper thanks to Darrell. He took the extra step to help me with my Vox order. Which will be resolved shortly. Living in the states I could have waited for the Fire but I liked the way my Kobo touch performs so I went with the Vox.
Thanks again Darrell for your great customer service.

After several attempts to contact customer service through the general email contact. By which I never received a response. He took responsibility of my query in regards to my order which he is handling. I was curious because after the initial order confirmation I received no additional emails from Kobo. Even if it was the " Sorry but your shipment will be delayed until Novemver 7 th" at least I knew where I stood.

I second the motion

Darrell puzzles me a bit in that as one person he manages to outperform the entire Kobo support staff by miles, not feet... He helped me out in cancelling a pre-order, too, when I went instead to Future Shop this past Friday to get my Vox.

Thumbs up

I have to add my to Darrell.

I e-mailed him with my contact information on Sunday regarding a rather puzzling problem I was having with my Kobo order. He phoned me right away, within minutes. He said he would look into the issue, which he did. There were a couple of more follow up phone calls this week and from what I can see, the problem is solved.

Excellent work. He's very courteous and patient and genuinely interested in helping the customer.

P.S. I like smilies.

Darrell has been great when it comes to helping out. He has definitely been making a huge effort to resolve my issues. I am just not sure how much longer I can continue waiting...as some issues get resolved others seem to crop up...I starting to think this device may have been a bit rushed...too bad, because I think it is a decent device, especially for the price.

I second everything on this page regarding Darrell's excellence. He also wound up looking into my pre-order cancellation snafu.

Thanks Darrell.

Agreed. He, and a couple of other Kobo employees, have really stepped up to the plate to help out us folks. You know, as much as we may want to complain about the regular tech support, these guys have really made up for it.

So many people here have praised Darrell in different forums that I wish I had his personal email to help me with my problems with the Vox. The person I spoke to yesterday was not very helpful. Maybe next time I should ask for Darrell. Do you think
he is Heather's right hand man?

Darrell is incredible!!!!! As a new kobo customer who had the worst customer service from them, Darrell saved the day for kobo. I just wanted to say thank you for posting his email. I got help because of this site. I wanted to call the president Mr.Serbinis so that he knows how horrible his customer service is, but Darrell is great.
