Hello Everybody !
I am a life-long book-lover who has run out of bookshelves and the husband is complaining (<hmphf> as if he didn't know what he was marrying many years ago ... why's he complaining now? ... and anyhow, there are worse sins in life than having too many books in the house ... as if the concept even existed!).
With the help of the Excellent posts on this board, I've narrowed the eReader choice to either a Nook or an iPad ... to be purchased soon. BTW, Kudos to whomever organized the forum topics: very well done and makes it very easy to drill to the point of interest. Regards, RocketGranny |

Hi & welcome to MR.
My hubby is the same - complaint about too many books (he didn't get the concept that such a thing doesn't exist). The beauty about the eReader is that I don't have to smuggle the books into the house anymore (trips to the bookstore are usually fatal). Now I download them and he is none the wiser |

Hi RocketGranny and welcome to MobileRead. I have an eBook reader partly because my wife insisted there were too many books in the place. And she was right and I'm now reading a lot more than I was and there is actually some room in our apartment

Sorry but is there such a thing as 'too many books'? I would blame it on the size of the appartment
