Question HELP NEEDED! Kindle 3 Screensaver hack uninstall
Hi!
I have a Kindle 3 Wifi.I'm trying to uninstall the screensaver hack and jailbreak from my kindle.
When I try to uninstall the screensaver hack (its version is 0.18.n), it crashes with an error called U007 .

Please tell me that how can I uninstall all the hacks from my kindle and make it as it came from amazon. Will the "reset to factory mode" remove all hacks??

It did on my wife's K2 when we had to send it back when the case cracked.

"reset to factory mode" is what i did when i sent in my original k2 that amazon had replaced (for free). that was several weeks ago and i've heard nothing more about it. i assume that it cleaned out the illicit files.

Except it doesn't . It'll just disable/break most of the hacks, but they'll still be installed.

Go to The How-To Geek and do a search for Kindle Jailbreak. At the end of the article they tell you how to reverse what you've done.
