It's a rather short article (one line on a widescreen lol), but it makes the point. Books have passed games and are now the largest sales category in the Apple App Store based on annual sales. |

That's not sales, that's just "applications available". And yes, there are an awful lot of stand-alone book apps cluttering up the store.

It appears to be talking about annual downloads, not total available. Or is the two-sentence article inaccurate?
