MS Word/Office
I have a question, and I'm not sure where it belongs, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum, but this one made sense to me. Is there a version of Word/Office that runs on Android OS?
Thanks. |

You have it as a default install, it is Documents to Go

To use it and get a sense of its capabilities, the manual is here: http://download.dataviz.com/pdf/manu...oid_manual.pdf. Currently we have version 2, but DataViz is working on a version 3 which is shaping up to be quite an excellent upgrade (including sync-to-desktop).

Actually, I discovered yesterday that enTourage sneaked Version 3 into the Dingo release, so Docs-To-Go should work even better for you. The manual is still for version 2, though. Also keep in mind that the eDGe is using Android which is still more or less a cell phone operating system. Apps that run on Android tend to be designed for 2-4" Android cellphones, so Docs-To-Go won't look at all like Office (no toolbars, etc., and awkward ways of doing things). But, with an external keyboard, you could probably do a lot of typing and spreadsheet editing.
