Also wenn vergeblich 'seriöse' Hersteller so sind...

... wie sie sich hier benehmen, dann erübrigt sich das gesamte Thema
bzw. die Produkte (mögen sie noch so gut sein!) die sie herstellen:

Ist doch eigentlich lächerlich. Und für mich der Hersteller nicht das
geringste Thema mehr in Hinblick auf einen Kauf seiner Erzeugnisse. Auf jeden
Fall ist der Eindruck, der hier hinterlassen wird, mehr als nur schlecht.
Hat zwar nicht direkt mit dem Thema im Thread zu tun, aber trotzdem...

Auch wenn er Recht haben mag, so ist der Mann ja nun nicht ganz voreingenommen.

Microsoft wollte sich zur Herausgabe von Windows 95 seinerzeit ja den Begriff "windows" sichern lassen und ist damit kläglich gescheitert.
Die Telekom mahnt immer noch in regelmäßigen Abständen Anbieter oder Webseitenbetreiber ab, deren Farbton ihnen als "zu Magenta" erscheint.

neben dem iPad und den "reinen" Tablets, gibt es auch sog. Netvertibles (Netbooks mit drehbaren Touch-Bildschirm), hier mal ein vielversprechendes Exemplar:

Willkommen in der Patentwelt! Wenn du danach deine Kaufentscheidungen ausrichtest, dann bleiben dir nicht mehr viele Produkte übrig, denn dieses Vorgehen ist völlig normal. Man klagt einfach mal und guckt, obs was bringt. Kostet ja quasi nichts. Siehe die Beispiele von K-Thom.

Den Versuch, den Buchstaben i in Markennamen zu schützen, finde ich zwar auch lächerlich (obwohl das auch positive Auswirkungen hätte, denn mittlerweile fängt ja gefühlt jeder zweite Produktname mit i an), aber DOPi hätte ich persönlich nicht durchgelassen. Die Ähnlichkeit zu iPod finde ich zu offensichtlich.
