Yet another clone, the NUUTBook

Yes, yet another STAReBook/whatever clone,

This time the NUUTBook out of Korea. Cheap at around W297,000 which currently is around US$260ish.

They also have a nice soft case for them which I might try getting hold of for about US$22ish

Options? News, Bookshelf, Music, Pictures and Settings.

Seems they have partnered with a Korean newspaper for some kind of content deal, Korean only of course.

No idea how different this would be, but moneys on it being just another firmware variant,

Certainly. They have been around for a while and covered in the wiki.

oops

Is this the cheapest clone out there at the moment thou? It's certainly cheaper than all the others I've seen.

Getting hold of one if you don't speak Korean, and are not in Korea might be a challenge.

Since this is a clone, is it possible to flash the cybook gen3 firmware on this unit to have it support English?

Even if it's the case. You can't just put the cybook firmware on it and flash it.

I did it with a starebook and after if you succeed you are stuck with an old bookeen firmware which was for my case far better than the eread one though.
