Thumbs up Thanks for book catalog 0.6.36 update!

Wow!
I was expecting a "list" in EPUB format .

Picture Catalog is really the description that fits best.

The previous Memory leak appears to be gone.
It took 8 Min to generate a catalog of 650 titles in EPUB on XP SP3 (32bit).

Is there any reason that the first time a "thumbnail" was generated, that it could not be stored in the Main DB for future use? And update it (If exists) if the (browser) cover changes?

No reason, but not much point either. Generating a catalog doesn't take all that long and adding thumbnail caching just for the catalog would not be worth the effor, IMO

Mine tooks 7 hours which is a new definition of "not that long" . I did have about 8500 books in the library with about 4 formats for each book. The resulting ePub catalog was 33.2Mb in size. Memory usage peaked at about 1GB when generating it.

Having said that it was still worth it, and knowing the job will take this long I can just leave it running overnight.

Well if you're going to be maintaining your own library, you have to be prepared to pay the librarians some over time
