I joined the DC library online today (find it on ebook lending library list).
It was free and I got immediate access after getting ID via email. |

The Fairfax Library lends out eBooks in ADE format and that works fine on the Sony. |

Hello tcjuice and welcome to MobileRead. You have some super sons if they'd save up enough to buy the Sony Reader for you. My hubby gave me the lighted cover for Christmas and it makes it very easy to read in the car at night.
I haven't tried to get any electronic books from my library because I just have too many books to read. If you like romances, be sure to take advantage of the Harlequin give-away. I've downloaded a couple of their free books and will be getting the rest of them this weekend. Although I don't read romances very often, I like the idea of having a variety of books around when I want to loan my Kindle to someone. |

I called the library and they said I can get the card because I am an Ohio resident. I just have to actually go to one of the libraries in Cleveland to fill out the application.
three hours is not that bad for what I am getting in return. Plus, like pilotbob says I will, "....have plenty of time to read." |
