The plain vanilla edition of the NKJV is on sale for $2.99 at B&N and Amazon. It's $2.39 and DRM-Free at Christianbook. Note that in this edition, each verse is on its own line and paragraphs are marked by a boldface verse number.

The MacArthur Daily Bible (NKJV edition) is still $3.99 from B&N and Amazon. At Christianbook it's $2.93 and DRM-Free.

I've been lazy about posting these lately because I haven't seen anything new in a while, but various posters have pointed out in another threads that Agency books seem to be eligible for coupons at Kobo. Additionally, Sept50 has been reported as a multiple-use 50% off coupon.

The links below are all for Kobo and prices are before applying the coupon.

NIV Study Bible is $6.99.
NIV Quest Study Bible is $6.99.
NIV Teen Study Bible is $8.99.
NIV Youth Quest Study Bible is $3.99.
NIV Life Journey Bible is $6.99.
NIV Once-A-Day Bible is $2.99.
NIV Once-A-Day Bible: Chronological Edition is $3.99.
NIV Celebrate Recovery Bible is $8.99.
NIrV Kids' Quest Study Bible is $3.99.
The VeggieTales Bible, NIrV is $3.99.
The Adventure Bible, NIV is $6.99.

The Apologetics Study Bible is $5.99 (regularly $19.99) at B&N and Christianbook (where it's DRM-Free).

It's still regular price at Amazon, but I'd be surprised if it doesn't drop there within a day.

It's not available at Kobo, so no coupon love on this one.

Thanks. I'm holding out another week or so on the off chance that the pre-coupon price drops, but I'm planning to get it before the coupon expires.

The HCSB Study Bible is $7.69 before coupon codes at Kobo ($9.99 at Amazon, $16.49 at B&N).

After promo code Sept50 it's $3.85.

And it seems that I overpaid! If you didn't buy it before, it's now $2.99 everywhere except Kobo (where it's still $7.69) and if you buy it from eChristian.com, it lists both Kindle and epub formats DRM-Free. I'm assuming that you get both with the same purchase, but I don't have any dual-format ebooks from them myself to confirm that. Christianbook is also DRM-Free, but only lists the epub.

The Daily Walk Bible NLT: 31 Days With Jesus is free at eChristian and Amazon. Being only the gospels, it looks like a sort of free sample for the full version of The Daily Walk Bible NLT.

The NASB and NKJV editions of The MacArthur Study Bible are $6.99 at all of the usual suspects, including Kobo. They're coupon eligible, so 50% off with BookRiot50 for a final price of $3.49.

If you're a fan of the NASB, this edition has much better formatting than any of Lockman's electronic editions, so it's easily worth buying just for the NASB text. Also be aware that the study notes are nearly identical between versions (differing only in quoted Bible text, as far as I can tell). If you have it in one translation, the only real reason to get another one is the convenience of not having to switch while reading.

NASB: Kobo B&N eChristian Christianbook Sony Amazon

NKJV: Kobo B&N eChristian ChristianBook Sony Amazon

The MacArthur Bible Commentary is $6.99 as well. Though modestly updated, this is essentially the MacArthur study notes without an accompanying Bible translation. Again, eligible for coupon codes at Kobo.

Kobo B&N eChristian Christianbook Sony Amazon

I suspect that the sale may be to bring attention to the very recently released NIV version of The MacArthur Study Bible that is currently $33.99 at Amazon and Kobo (and more everywhere else). It's coupon eligible, though, so if it's worth $16.99 to you, knock yourself out. Just make sure you enter the coupon code before completing your purchase.

Almost certainly coincidence, but one of this week's David C. Cook freebies is John MacArthur's Standing Strong, so today's your lucky day if you're a John MacArthur fan.

The MacArthur Topical Bible is $6.99 before and $3.49 after coupon at Kobo. Here's the Amazon link in case it's worth the extra $3.50 to have the Kindle version without converting it yourself.

Quote:
Finally, a contemporary topical Bible that's as easy to use as a dictionary!

Wouldn't you like to have all the Scriptures on an important Bible topic, such as marriage, end times, the Holy Spirit, or money management in one place and instantly available - not just the references but the entire passage?

The MacArthur Topical Bible is the most user-friendly Bible study tool released in decades. An amazing time-saver for teachers and pastors planning their lessons. A comprehensive volume of 20,000 Bible topics and more than 100,000 Bible passages, carefully cross-referenced and organized for quick and complete visual location.

Designed for beginning students as well as seasoned scholars, The MacArthur Topical Bible is useful with all Bible translations.

Next to the Bible this is the best companion a Christian can have for in-depth study for thousands of spiritual subjects.

A resource that belongs in every Christian's basic Bible reference library.

The Kingdom New Testament by N. T. Wright is $2.99. It's available at Kobo, but isn't couponable in the U.S.

B&N Kobo Amazon

Quote:
The New Testament for the Twenty-First Century.

Most readers of the New Testament have grown overly familiar with the biblical text, losing sight of the wonder and breadth of its innovative ideas and world-changing teachings about the life and role of Jesus of Nazareth. N. T. Wright invigorates these sacred texts with an all-new English translation that allows contemporary readers to encounter these historic works afresh.

With the insight and expertise of "the world’s leading New Testament scholar" (Newsweek), this approachable, engaging translation features accessible, modern prose that stays true to the character of the ancient Greek text by maintaining the vibrancy and vigor of the original works while also conveying the most accurate rendering possible.

The 2013 edition of the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures has been made available at jw.org. It's only in PDF right now, but I expect an epub soon.

So far, I've only flipped through the first few pages of Genesis. It's more than merely a cosmetic update, but I'll have to spend some quality time with it later to see just how much more. For one thing, it now includes translation notes, but the ones I spot-checked weren't as interesting or insightful as I'd hoped. John 1:1 reads, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god." The footnote gives the alternate reading of "was divine," presumably intending to ignore the fact that nearly every other translator elected to use "was God." I did notice, though, that the footnotes in Ruth 1 include the derivations of the names Mahlon and Chilion (sickness and wasting or failing respectively), which many translations ignore.

Enjoy!
