I really hope that they follow through on that now that they are owned by B&N. The eReader DRM is not nearly so clumsy, obnoxious and obtrusive as Adept, and it locks the book to a particular person instead of to a particular device or small set of devices as Adept does.

Amen! We see that in their mp3 downloads. I believe Amazon would prefer DRM free books.
