This is short fiction, but M.P. Shiel's type of fiction is categorized as WEIRD FICTION -; you know, Lovecraft, Machen, Blackwood.

Here's a short quote from Tartarus press promoting their book, The Pale Ape and Other Pulses. This quote is here to acquaint you with M.P. Shiel's reputation:

"Attaining an ethereal wedding of cosmic awe and emotional unease beyond the grasp of his peers, M.P.
