Yep, but then you gotta be careful about tilting or turning it ... that would probably not work well for me walking and reading...but it might...dependent on the implementation....

PocketBook has had this feature for quite a long time, when you installed FBReader180 - a third party reading application based on the source code of the built-in FBReader implementation.
You can set the tilt angle you need to activate this feature and it works pretty well.

All "iDevices" have an (optional) "shake to shuffle" feature on the music player. I don't use it myself, because it's too easy to activate accidentally.
