It is STORING any use of the clipboard while Sigil was open (a clipboard History?) .

@theducks - Sigl has to monitor the system clipboard as long as it remains open. Otherwise you would not be able to copy text from another application like Word or Notepad and have that immediately available in your Sigil history. Particularly useful if you have some special characters or common text you store in some other document on your desktop that has been "lost" from your history.

If you restrict clipboard monitoring to only when Sigil has the focus, your workflow will become copy from other app, paste into Sigil, copy in Sigil (again), and only then does the text appear in the clipboard history.

Can we make in NOT persistent across sessions. My real issue is the with the unencrypted SAVE after Sigil is closed.
