PRS-T1 Can an original Sony PRS 600 cover hold a PRS T1?

Hi all

I was given a beautiful original Sony leather cover for a PRS-600 for Christmas - the one with a reading light attached. But I am keen to buy a PRS-T1.

My question to the forum members is whether the cover I have for the PRS-600 would also fit a PRS-T1? I don't want to buy a 600 simply because I was given the case for it.

I am guessing that many of you have both models and can advise me. Many thanks for your comments.

Nope, the T1 is missing those holes that the cover for the PRS-600 uses to attach to.

It will fit (barely) but you'll likely have to use industrial strength velcro to hold the T1 in place.

Many thanks both for your comments. Fresh out of industrial strength velcro so I guess I sell the cover or opt for the 600. Many thanks

$3 at Walmart gets you the velcro.

I think you'll find that the screen clarity on a PRS-T1 is way better than that on a PRS-600. It would be a shame to degrade your reading experience.
