PID from Kindle Desktop

Is there a way to get the PID if I only have Kindle Desktop? I bought a book and I want to be able to get it onto my Sony Reader. I already know all the other steps but I need to find the PID.

The bad news is, no, there's no way of getting the PID of the Kindle for PC client, and even if you could it wouldn't do you any good since it uses a different encryption scheme.

The good news is, there are other tools available that will do what you want, we just can't tell you where to find them. But if you read the comments on Dark Reverser's blog you might find links to what you need.

You need to read this thread: Adventures in discovering the K4PC PID

You can start with post 315, then fire up Google for the parts.
