Concordance
Does any of the e-Readers come with concordance software? Or do they have the ability to use some kind of concordance plug-in?
I know I can move the title to a PC and do it there, but sometimes curiosity gets the better of me and i crave instant gratification, hence doing it in the background while reading would be a nice perk. |

I don't know the answer to that. But, why would you want a concordancer while you read? Just interested...

Academic reading. I might encounter a word or phrase that is central to a topic I'm researching, collecting a frequency could be a first indication of relevancy.

Right. that's interesting. it just struck me that writer could do with a concordancer on the word processor to make sure there weren't too many uses of low frequency words.
let's start a campaign for concordancers with all text applications/readers from now on... JB |
