Problems with Microsoft Reader?

Hey everyone.

Ok, I'm trying to run this on Windows 7, and it works really well..

But then something occurs everytime I launch a book:

So I try to launch 'The Temptation of Elminister' by Ed Greenwood.. And then it automatically makes a copy of the book in My Library's folder:

"THE TEMPTATION OF ELMINSTER - ED GREENWOOD-(7f1446f9).ebo". Case-sensitive, and it is SO annoying, and Microsoft is HORRIBLE with support.

any suggestions? Thanks.

Problems with Microsoft Reader

Dullahir,

the .ebo file is the file that holds your annotations. It is created and then updated everytiime you open the book so that the Reader knows what page you left off on and provides you access to all of the bookmarks, text notes, ink notes, etc that you have created to accompany that book.

Please let me know if you have any addtional questions.

Thanks!
