Ja, nur schade daß es bei den großen Verlagen scheinbar viel weniger bzw. gar keine ebook-Experten gibt.

Buchverleger sollten sich das Beispiel von Agfa stets vor Augen halten.

Derzeit sind eBooks für etablierte Verlage eine Investition, die sich nicht wirklich rechnet. Platt gesagt: man kann als Verlag auch darauf verzichten. Warum soll ich mich mit Digitalkameras (=eBooks) beschäftigen, wenn ich mit fotografischen Filmen (=Bücher) richtig gut im Geschäft bin?

Es ist - ganz nüchtern betrachtet - unwahrscheinlich, dass eBooks so bald eine solch kurze (und vor allem schnelle!) Marktdurchdringung haben, dass man wie Agfa im Fotobereich vom Geschehen schlicht überrollt wird.

Dennoch ist es stets ein Fehler, wenn man als Produzent ein vorhandenes Bedürfnis am Markt unbeachtet lässt und entweder gar nicht oder nur unzureichend befriedigt. Entweder tun es andere, oder die Kunden sehen sich anderweitig um.

Aber, ganz klar: Derzeit sehen viele Verleger und Händler (und Leser) keinen allzu großen Bedarf, sich aktiv mit eBooks auseinanderzusetzen.

Dafür ist der DE-Bereich - auch von der Teilnehmerzahl her - vielleicht noch nicht wirklich substanziell genug.

MR international hat ja schon einen gewissen "impact", siehe auch im Bezug auf Testgeräte oder Interviews. Ansonsten wäre zu überlegen, ob man nicht über einen offiziellen Sprecher des DE-Forums nachdenken könnte, der als Ansprechpartner für den deutschen Buchhandel, etc. fungieren könnte und auch selbst Kontakte knüpft.

Ist aber schon ein neues Thema für sich. Trotzdem überlegenswert, denke ich.
