Das Leben des Lazarillo de Tormes ist ein um 1552 anonym veröffentlichter spanischer Roman, von dem uns nur die 1554 gedruckten Neuauflagen aus Burgos, Alcalá, Antwerpen und Medina del Campo vorliegen, und der als Vorläufer des Schelmenromans der europäischen Literaturgeschichte gilt.

Das anonymes Werk wird verschiedenen Autoren, u.a. auch Hurtado de Mendoza zugeschrieben. (nach Wikipedia)

Danke! Das habe ich vor einigen Jahren gelesen und mochte es sehr. Jetzt werde ich es mir in den nächsten Wochen als ebook nochmals vornehmen und freu mich drauf.

Although there seems to be new evidence supporting the authorship of Diego Hurtado de Mendoza, note that this book is widely considered as anonymous. You'll find practically all editions listed as anonymous.

Note also that the given name is "Diego" and the family name is "Hurtado de Mendoza".
